We Are Engaged!

Wednesday afternoon Steve planned a day of horseback riding and a picnic lunch in Malibu, CA. We got dressed up in our best western clothes and drove almost 2hrs to a national reserve park in beautiful Malibu.

The ride was just Steve and I plus a tour guide. It was so beautiful riding along the trail. Steve reassured me that we would have a picnic lunch, so we got to a small picnic area- where there was the table set with a red table cloth, white roses and music playing in the background.

We sat down and enjoyed our lunch, talking and goofing us as well do. we were caring on as Steve asked me "what do you see for us in the future" as i contemplated the questions- i knew i wanted to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, but i didn't want to rush anything.
Steve continued on talking and expressed his love towards me he got on one knee and asked me to be his wife :) i was in shock! i had no idea what to say or do.. so i just stared and he asked me again! i finally realized what he asked me said yes and gave him a HUG!

after catching my breath i texted my mom with a pictures of the ring and "i said yes"

We drove home that afternoon and all i could do was stare at my ring. we came home to my and dad waiting with a glass of sparkling apple cider and a gift. Steve and I's favorite part- a kissing bride and groom salt and pepper shaker!
